The beach is a mile away, the Intracoastal a short walk, and the shops, bars and seafood restaurants along SE 17th Street are minutes on foot. There is no free shuttle here, but bus stops are close, Brightline and Tri-Rail connect you to Miami and West Palm Beach, and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is minutes away. A great deal of work sits within walking distance too -- the hotels and restaurants of the 17th Street corridor, Port Everglades, and Broward Health -- which matters if you would rather not depend on a car.
